Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
     Article should be original in nature.
     Article should make significant contribution to knowledge.
     Article submitted for publication in LIJOMASS is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
     Article submitted to LIJOMASS has not been published previously.
     Article should conform to LIJOMASS submission guidelines.
    Acceptance letter for successful articles will be accompanied with copyright form, which must be filled and signed by the author(s).
    Copy right to articles published in the journal is vested in Faculty of Management and Social Sciences, IBBUL.

     Upon receipt of an article and the assessment fee, the paper is registered and subjected to peer-review using double blind review method.
     The reviewed paper as well as assessment report form is returned to the author for necessary corrections (where the paper is considered publishable).
     Upon receipt of the corrected version of the article, the Editorial Board scrutinizes the paper for final acceptance or rejection.
     For the successful papers, acceptance letter is issued to the author(s) and directives for payment of pagination or publication fee are given.
     Single and multiple authors are entitled to one print copy of the journal. Authors requiring additional copies have to purchase it from the publishers.

    The entire article (including figures and tables) should be supplied as a single file.
    Format of Typescripts
    First page: The first page should also serve as the cover page and should be reserved exclusively for (i) The title of the paper (ii) the name(s) of the author(s) (iii) GSM number and e-mail address of the corresponding author (iv) institutional affiliation of the author(s) and (v) abstract.
    The body: (i) Main/section headings should be in title case (e.g. capital letters) (ii) Sub-headings should be in upper case (iii) all sub-headings should be left justified (iv) tables, figures, maps and other illustrations which must be camera-ready should each be numbered and given a title which must be centered (v) all pages should be numbered.
    Manuscripts are to be prepared and submitted in word document (.doc) or rich text format. Only manuscript prepared by MS word 1997-2007 will be accepted for assessment.

    Abstract and key words
     All articles must have abstract, which should not exceed 250 words. The abstract should contain the research problem, objectives, methodology, findings and recommendations.
     Five key words should be supplied below the abstract in alphabetical order.
    The source of financial grants and other funding must be acknowledged. The contribution of colleagues and institutions should also be acknowledged. Footnotes can serve this purpose.
    The 6th Edition of APA style of referencing should be used.
